To get back to the point, many cardholders have encountered similar problems as me. Due to the fact that trailer brakes are earlier than the main vehicle, but now most trailer brake pads are in the 16 ton class, and the vehicle is lightweight. When braking with no load, the tires may scratch and smoke. This problem has two consequences: mild premature abnormal tire wear, and severe rainy and snowy weather can easily cause skidding! Causing unnecessary losses! The solution proposed by Mr. Wang is to use an adaptive valve.

The adapter valve is connected in series with the main trailer valve and trailer relay valve control air circuit! My installation position is at the goose neck of the trailer. I found the control air circuit of the relay valve and disconnected it. The red circle is at the intake end, and the white color is at the exhaust end (there are three exhaust ends for the adapter valve, and if two are blocked, use one). When I lightly step on the brake, the trailer is very soft, and heavy stepping does not affect the braking force!

A friend asked how to install it? There are usually two red and yellow pipes in the longitudinal beam of the trailer, which are connected from the main vehicle to the trailer through a spiral pipe. One way is to inflate the trailer gas cylinder, and the other way is the control gas path from the main trailer valve to the trailer relay valve, which is yellow! (The color varies depending on the vehicle) Disconnect the yellow pipeline (in a suitable position for installing the adapter valve), connect the intake end of the adapter valve from the direction of the main vehicle (black solid line), and connect the other end to the outlet of the adapter valve!

Lightly stepping on the brake like this makes the trailer very soft, and heavy stepping does not affect the braking force!
